Abstract:This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of a barcode-based basic soccer movement learning model in improving student motivation and learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 35 Palembang. Using a quantitative descriptive approach with observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation techniques, this study involved 30 eighth-grade students selected through purposive random sampling. The results showed that the learning process was effective with an average observation score of 3.82 (good category), while the questionnaire obtained an average of 86.25% (very good category), indicating that the barcode media helped students learn more easily, interestingly, and independently. Interview findings confirmed that learning became more enjoyable, easier to understand, and able to increase learning enthusiasm, while teachers assessed that this media facilitated the delivery of material and encouraged active student participation. Activity documentation also showed high student involvement in every stage of learning. Overall, the barcode-based learning model proved effective in increasing motivation, interest, and learning independence, and is relevant to be applied in PJOK learning as a technological innovation that supports student-centered learning.
