Patellofemoral pain syndrome is one of the common musculoskeletal conditions. The malalignment of the patella, muscular and joint imbalance of the lower extremity causes decrease in the amount of force required by the quadriceps to extend the knee which leads to quadriceps muscle weakness with diffuse aching pain.. This comparative study was conducted to know the effectiveness of physioball exercises and Mikhled knee exercises with Interferential therapy in patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome. 60 subjects with patellofemoral pain syndrome were randomly divided into 2 groups. Group A and Group B with 30 subjects in each group. Group A was given Interferential therapy with physioball exercises and Group B was given Interferential therapy with Mikhled knee exercises for 6 weeks, 3 sessions per week. Objective measures were Visual Analogue Scale, Patello femoral pain severity scale and Q angle. After the statistical analysis, group B was proven effective.
