Abstract:This study examined the effectiveness of Zumba aerobics and yoga training on selected physiological fitness variables among working women. A quasi-experimental design with three groups, Zumba, Yoga, and Control, was employed. Participants underwent an intervention lasting several weeks, and pre- and post-test measurements of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and pulse rate were recorded. Both Zumba and yoga groups demonstrated significant reductions in all physiological parameters compared to the control group, which showed slight increases. Yoga and Zumba produced comparable improvements, indicating that both aerobic dance-based exercise and mind-body practices effectively enhance cardiovascular health in sedentary working women. These findings highlight the value of incorporating structured physical activity programs into workplace wellness initiatives to mitigate health risks associated with occupational inactivity.
