Abstract:The impact of aerobic exercise on the physiological parameters and physical fitness of male collegiate football players was examined in this study. Thirty football players were chosen from KG College of Arts and Science Coimbatore in order to fulfil the study's objectives. The subjects (n=15) were divided into two equal groups at random. Group II served as the control group (CG), whereas Group I received aerobic training (CTG). For twelve weeks, the experimental group received aerobic exercise three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Other than their regular tasks, the control group received no instruction of any kind. Before and after training, the physical fitness variables of leg explosive power (standing broad jump) and speed (50-meter dash) were measured. To determine whether there had been any significant improvement at the 0.05 level of confidence, the data gathered from the subjects was statistically examined using the "t" test. Football players' speed and leg explosion were greatly enhanced by the current aerobic training.
