Abstract:Occupational stress has become an endemic concern in contemporary workplaces, particularly in the education and sports coaching sectors, where professionals face multidimensional demands. This study investigates occupational stress among four occupational groups within the physical education and sports domain: Government Physical Education Teachers, Government Coaches, Private Coaches, and Private Physical Education Teachers. Utilizing the Workplace Stress Scale developed by The Marlin Company and the American Institute of Stress (2001), this study draws on quantitative data from 700 respondents. Descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and Bonferroni post hoc tests were used for analysis. The findings reveal statistically significant differences in stress levels across the groups, with private-sector professionals, especially teachers, experiencing the highest levels of occupational stress. The paper discusses implications for institutional reform, employee well-being programs, and the need for supportive work environments. These insights contribute to the broader discourse on occupational mental health and the sustainability of human resources in education and sports domains.
