The influence of physical activity on learning interest and academic achievement of elementary school children: A literature review

Abstract:This literature review explores the influence of physical activity on the learning interest and academic achievement of elementary school children. Numerous studies highlight the positive effects of physical activity on cognitive development, motivation, and academic performance. The review analyzes the role of physical activity in enhancing executive functions, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement. It concludes that regular physical exercise not only supports physical health but also fosters mental alertness, improved focus, and better academic results. Integrating structured physical activity into school programs is crucial for holistic student development and long-term educational outcomes.
