Abstract:Recently, the methodology of training qualified female athletes in sports aerobics has increasingly focused on an individual approach, scientifically based training methods and the use of modern technologies, especially in the training of women. This problem is attracting increasing attention from scientists in the field of sports physiology and medicine, as well as specialists studying the theory and methodology of sports training. In particular, it has been established that changes in hormonal status during the menstrual cycle (MC) lead to a complex restructuring of neurohormonal regulation. This is accompanied by changes in respiration, blood circulation, respiratory function of blood, transport speed and oxygen use, which largely determine the performance of female athletes. The data obtained necessitate a revision of traditional approaches to planning the training process.
In this study, an integrated approach was used, including an assessment of the functional capabilities of female athletes in various phases of the menstrual cycle. For this, athletes performed a paired run of a competitive composition, with a rest interval of 30 seconds. In parallel, studies were conducted that included measurements of external respiration, gas exchange, blood function and circulation, as well as an assessment of the biochemical characteristics of carbohydrate metabolism. This approach made it possible to identify phase-specific physiological changes and adapt the training load accordingly.
