Abstract:College women commonly struggle with stress, despair, and emotional fragility. This study examines how aerobic exercise reduces depression and boosts psychological resilience in college women. 40 participants were randomly assigned to 20-person intervention and control groups. The intervention group conducted a 45-minute aerobic exercise program three times a week for six weeks. Selected standardized tools were used to assess depression and resilience. Compared to the control group, aerobic exercise participants had lower depression levels and higher resilience. These data imply that steady aerobic exercise can progress mental health outcomes, particularly depression and psychological resilience in college-aged women, at little cost and with ease. The study suggests adding physical activity to educational mental health support programs.
