Author(s): Mandeep and Kulwinder Pal Singh Mahi
Abstract:The aim of this study was to find out the effects of circuit training on Balance. The study was conducted on One hundred twenty (N=120), female field hockey players (age 18-25 years). The subjects were divided into following groups: Group-A: Experimental Group [Grass Field]: (N1=40): Group-B: Experimental Group [Synthetic Field]: (N2=40): Group-C: Control Group [Control one]: (N3=40). Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) test were included in the present study. Results reveals that all the two experimental groups were significantly different in their adjusted final means when compared to the adjusted final mean of control group. The mean difference 9.225* between Grass Field and Control Group was also found significant in favour of Grass Field Group. The mean difference 11.130* between Grass Field and Synthetic Field Group was also found significant in favour of Grass Field. However, the mean difference 1.905 between Synthetic Field and Control Field Group was not statistically significant.
