Abstract:The present research study was experimental which was conducted with objective to examine effect of plyometric training on motor & skills fitness among inter-university volleyball players. The study implemented true random group design consisting of a pre-post-test. The subjects (N=20) inter-university volleyball players were randomly assigned to two equal groups. Experimental group was considered as plyometric training and control group did not part any treatment. Pre-tested for experimental and control group on the variables (motor fitness and skill variables) Experimental group implemented plyometric training for twelve weeks, after training program, volleyball players were post tested on both groups & collected the data. The difference between pre & post data scores was considered the effect of respective treatments. To find out statistical significance of the results obtained, the data were subjected to statistical treatment using independent ‘t’ test.
