In the statistical procedures, independent groups t-test was used for pairwise comparisons and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test was used for multiple comparisons. Post-Hoc (Scheffe) analysis was used to determine the cases where there were significant differences using one-way variance (ANOVA) analysis. According to the results of the statistical analyses of this study, no significant difference was found in any of the sub-items of the scale according to the gender variable. According to the purpose of exercise participation variable; while there was no significant difference in the factors of intention effect and continuity; it was determined that there was a significant difference in the factors of tolerance, effects of exercise cessation, loss of control, reduction of time and other activities according to the purpose of exercise participation.
