Abstract:
The study aimed to investigate the impact of an eight-week aerobic training program on physical fitness components Agility and Strength and physiological variables Haemoglobin and Resting Heart rate among intercollegiate football players. The participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group that underwent aerobic exercises and a control group that did not. The researcher measured physical fitness variables and Physiological variables before and after the training period. The subjects for the present study were 60. 30 each group, the sampling was done by the simple random sampling method. The study concluded that aerobic training positively affects these physical and physiological variables, which could enhance the overall performance of football players.
