Abstract:Sports are universally enjoyed, challenging, and require skill and physical conditioning. Victory in sports is celebrated as success and comradeship. Modern sports have become integral to education, with growing popularity worldwide. With advancements in sports science, research helps identify factors contributing to high performance, including coaching, exercise physiology, and sports psychology. Anthropometric measurements like height, weight, body mass index, and skin fold thickness are used to assess athletes' body composition, optimize performance, and detect health issues. This study focuses on evaluating the anthropometric characteristics of football players in South East Zone teams qualified for the All-India Inter-University Football Championship.
