Author(s): Suhail Hassan and Riza Ramzan
Abstract:This study explores the mental toughness of two groups, Female Group 01 and Male Group 02, by assessing various psychological traits related to performance under pressure. A questionnaire was administered to both groups, examining aspects such as self-doubt, confidence, frustration, resilience, concentration, and decision-making under pressure. The results revealed moderate levels of self-confidence and focus in both groups, with the female group showing slightly higher tendencies for frustration. Both groups demonstrated strong resilience, resisting the urge to give up in challenging situations, while also facing difficulties in decision-making under pressure. The study suggests that interventions targeting emotional regulation, concentration, and decision-making skills could further enhance mental toughness in both groups. These findings offer valuable insights into the psychological factors that influence performance and provide recommendations for improving mental toughness training in both genders.
