Comparative study of vital capacity of pranayama practitioners and non-practitioners among disabled students

Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to compare vital capacity of pranayama practitioners and non-practitioners students of Amar Jyoti School and rehabilitation Centre, Gwalior. The study was condu on sixty students. They were selected randomly from the school. The vital capacity was measured by using spirometer. 't' test was used at 0.05 level of significant there was significant difference between the of pranayama practitioners and non-practitioners. On basis of findings the result of the study vital capacity of pranayama practitioners was better than non- practitioners. Its efficacy as a therapeutic intervention for improving respiratory health. The findings provide insights into the potential benefits of pranayama for the disabled population.
