Physical condition and basic techniques of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta students in men's basketball extracurriculars

Abstract:
Basketball is a team sport that has 10 players in one team, with basic movements, especially shooting. Shooting in handball is a form of attack that aims to produce points and weapons to win a match. This study aims to determine the level of physical condition and basic techniques of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta students in men's basketball extracurriculars. The research subjects were 10 male basketball extracurricular students of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative using the survey method. Based on the results of research on the level of physical condition and basic techniques of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta students, namely the level of physical condition of male basketball extracurricular students of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta in the very good category as many as 1 student (10%). Then, the level of basic technical ability of men's basketball extracurricular students of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta in the category of very good as many as 0 students (0%), good as many as 4 students (40%), enough as many as 5 students (50%), less good as many as 0 students (0%), very poor as many as 1 student (10%). The results above can be interpreted that the level of physical condition of men's basketball extracurricular students of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta is mostly in the sufficient category, then the level of basic technical skills of men's basketball extracurricular students of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta is mostly in the sufficient category.
