Abstract:
Women's participation in sports is crucial for promoting gender equality, health, and social development. However, numerous barriers prevent women from participating in activities such as sports, particularly in areas with many different types of cultures like Rajasthan, where I live. In the geographical area of Rajasthan, this case study looks into the particular challenges that prevent women from participating in sports. For the purpose of the study 300 women's are selected as sample from the Rajasthan. This study identifies and examines the cultural, social, and infrastructural variables causing such barriers using a mixed-methods approach that includes surveys, interviews, and statistical analysis. The findings provide ideas for establishing an inclusive sports environment as well as insights into the numerous challenges faced by women in Rajasthan.
