The effect of a rehabilitation program on some components of healthy fitness for women with type 2 diabetes

Abstract:The research problem is summarized in the necessity of women with type 2 diabetes exercising to reduce the side effects of medications on all body systems. The aims of the research were: to prepare a rehabilitation program that suits the research sample, as well as identify the effect of the prepared rehabilitation program on some components of health fitness for the research sample. The research hypothesis is: that statistically significant differences were found between the pre- and post-tests of the research sample in some components of health fitness. The research sample consisted of (25) women with type 2 diabetes who were selected randomly, and (5) were excluded from the exploratory experiment, while the main experiment sample consisted of (20) patients. The raw data obtained was processed, analyzed, and discussed, the researcher concluded Several conclusions were drawn, including that the rehabilitation program had a positive impact on the sample, and several recommendations were reached, including: encouraging women with diabetes to exercise regularly to obtain good results.
