Analysis of traditional games fascination among school children in Nuh district of Haryana

Abstract: Traditional games are more than just pastimes; they are woven into the fabric of human culture, reflecting traditions, social interactions, and historical evolution. Many of these games have stood the test of time, passed down through generations as a way to teach skills, build camaraderie, and foster physical and cognitive development. The main purpose of conducting this study was to find out the fascination of traditional games among children in Nuh district of Haryana. The data relating to the study was collected from five different schools out of five different blocks in Nuh district of Haryana involving a total of 125 (one hundred and twenty-five) subjects playing the traditional games ranging between 12 years to 16 years of age. The research findings were revealed using a percentile method out of one hundred traditional games.
