Positive self-talk

Abstract:While riding, you have a discussion with yourself, and this does not indicate that you are insane. Examine it. Are you supporting yourself? Concerned? Are you punishing yourself? Athlete performance can be significantly impacted by self-talk. Identifying and fixing your negative self-talk may turn into your most valuable cognitive ability. I am so worried, I just feel like something horrible is going to happen, I am so much weaker than her, I can't win this game, so why even play? I can't climb, so this race was a waste of time. I played poorly in a game last month, so I may play poorly today as well. I simply got lucky today. If I don't improve, the team will fire me; by this point, I should be a better player.
