Author(s): Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma
Abstract:This comparative study explores the effects of yogic exercises and physical exercises on aerobic endurance among secondary school students. A total of 120 boys, aged 12 to 18, were divided into three groups: a control group, a yogic exercise group, and a physical exercise group. The study measured the impact of different forms of exercise on aerobic endurance over a period of 12 weeks. The findings indicated that the yogic exercise group showed superior improvement in aerobic endurance compared to the physical exercise and control groups. The research underscores the potential benefits of incorporating yogic practices to enhance cardiovascular health and endurance.
