Sports is a discipline that studies how the healthy human body works during exercise, and how sport and physical activity promote health and performance from cellular to whole body perspectives. Through the study of science and sport, researchers have developed a greater understanding on how the human body reacts to exercise, training, different environments and many other stimuli. This study is carried out to view the Comparative Study of Speed and Coordinative abilities between Lawn Tennis and Badminton players. For the purpose of this study, 15 (Fifteen) Lawn tennis and 15 (Fifteen) Badminton players were selected as subject. The subjects age ranges between 18-22 years. To determine the speed, 50-yard dash run test will be used and the performance will be recorded in seconds by stop watch. To determine the coordinative abilities, Hand-Eye Coordination test (ball transfer) & Foot-Eye Coordination test was recorded in seconds. The independent t test was used to analyze the data at a 0.05 level of significance using SPSS software20. It shows that speed and coordinative abilities have no significant difference between Lawn Tennis and Badminton players.Pages: 81-85 | 334 Views 101 DownloadsDownload Full Article:
