Abstract:
Handball Federation of India is a non-profit organisation, established in 2013 that works primarily in the domain of the said sport. Its primary office is in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Major tasks and accomplishments include securing 7th position in the Asian Championship in women’s section; securing 8th position in the Asian Championship in men’s section; securing gold medal in IHF Trophy in both sections; secured gold medal in the South Asian Games at Guwahati; etc. However, in handball sports, India is yet to make a major impact at international level, world championship and the Olympic Games.
