Comparative study of depth perception level between cricket and hockey players

Abstract:The present study was designed with a main objective to compare depth perception level of cricket and hockey players. Total twenty male (10-Hockey and 10-Cricket) players from Shiksha Bharti Vidya Niketan Kalayat, Haryana were selected randomly as sample for present study. Me Digraph Depth Perception Tester was the best suited tool for the present study and was used to measure the depth perception of sample. To collect relevant data total two trials were given to every individual. Lowest score form two trials was considered for final evaluation of depth perception level. To compare the depth perception level of hockey and cricket players; mean, standard deviation and t-test was employed with the help of statistical package of SPSS. To test the hypothesis the significance level was set at 0.05 percent. It was observed that there was an insignificant difference between cricketer and hockey players of Shiksha Bharti Vidya Niketan Kalayat, Haryana for their depth perception level.
