Abstract:
The major objective of this research is to critically examine the facilities of sports in all the private universities situated in Himachal Pradesh. The present study is an attempt to investigate the sports related facilities, including, Ground /stadium, indoor facilities, Equipment and Staff etc. To solve the purpose of the study a sample of 300 students (30 from each university), 10 administrators and 13 Expert were taken for investigation from private universities. The study is descriptive in nature; for this purpose related data was collected with the help of questionnaires, According to the need of the study, the questionnaires were prepared with the objectives that it will help to assess the status of facilities of physical education available in the private universities situated in Himachal Pradesh. chi-square statistical tool was used to tackle the data.
