Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to highlight therncontribution and achievement of Mr. Dharam Singh Uppal toward the promotion ofrnthe athletics. Data for the investigation was derived from primary andrnsecondary sources. The focus was mainly around the family background, educationrnqualification, achievement, awards and professional career. Data for the investigation was collected through primary and secondaryrnsources up to May, 2011; through interview and self-made questionnaires contributionrnachievements leadership qualities and responsible of Mr. Singh. The study wouldrnbe a value able in addition to the Professional literature in sports andrnphysical education. This study will be significant to motivate the new sportsrngenerations and inspire the other police recruits. A case study was design torninvestigate the contribution and achievement of Mr. Singh and also to study hisrnphilosophy with regard to sports as a profession in India and to enlistrnleadership and administration quality of Mr. Singh. Self made questionnaire wasrnused to personal and professional information.
